1.用法
1.形容性物主代詞用來(lái)修飾名詞，起形容詞的作用，不能單獨(dú)使用。如：
My parents are both teachers.
我的父母都是老師。
2.名詞性物主代詞可以單獨(dú)使用，相當(dāng)于“形容詞性物主代詞+名詞”，后面不跟名詞。如：
May I use your ruler?I have lost mine.
=May I use your ruler?I have lost my ruler.
另外，名詞性物主代詞還可以用在"n.+of+名詞性物主代詞“結(jié)構(gòu)中，表示”某人的....“如：
The shoes of hers are very nice.
她的鞋子很漂亮。
Ⅱ.所作成分：
1.形容詞性物主代詞只能作定語(yǔ)。如：
There is something wrong with his computer.
他的電腦出問(wèn)題了。
They love their work in the shop.
他們喜歡在商店的工作。
2.名詞性物主代詞可以作主語(yǔ)、賓語(yǔ)和表語(yǔ)。如：

英語(yǔ)中的名詞所有格表示一種所屬關(guān)系，'s所有格多用于生命的名詞。
構(gòu)成：
①在單數(shù)名詞的末尾加's 構(gòu)成名詞的所有格，表示”....的"

②在以-s或-es 結(jié)尾的復(fù)數(shù)名詞后只需加'.
