顛倒的早晨

It's Friday night.Kate comes to stay at Lucy's house.

這是一個(gè)周五的晚上。凱特來(lái)到露西的房子里過(guò)夜。

"Hi Kate"says Lucy.

“嗨，凱特?！甭段髡f(shuō)道。

"Hi,"says Kate.

“嗨?！眲P特說(shuō)。

"Look at this."

“看這個(gè)?！?/div>

"What is it?"asks Lucy.

“這是什么？”露西問(wèn)道。

"It's a book called Funny Things to Do,"says Kate.

“這是一本叫《趣味事情》的書(shū)。”凱特說(shuō)。

“A Backward Mornign,"she says."That sounds great."

“顛倒的早晨，”她說(shuō)道，“聽(tīng)起來(lái)很棒?！?/div>

"But we have to get ready tonight,"says Kate.

“但是我們必須今天晚上就準(zhǔn)備好?！眲P特說(shuō)。

The next morning the girls get up.Then they get ready for bed again.They brush their teeth.Lucy reads Kate a bedroom story.

第二天早上女孩兒們起床了。接著她們做好了再次睡覺(jué)的準(zhǔn)備。她們刷了牙。露西讀了一個(gè)睡前故事。

“Thank you."says Kate,"And good night."

“謝謝你，”凱特說(shuō)，“晚安。”

They both laugh.

她們兩個(gè)都笑了起來(lái)。

“Now let's go and eat."says Lucy.

“現(xiàn)在我們過(guò)去吃東西吧?！甭段髡f(shuō)道。

“Good morning,girls."say Mum and Dad.

“早上好，孩子們?！卑职謰寢屨f(shuō)道。

"Good night,"say Lucy and Kate.

“晚上好”，露西和凱特說(shuō)道。

Mum looks at Dad.Dad looks at Mum.They both surprised.

媽媽看了看爸爸。爸爸看了看媽媽。他們看上去都很吃驚。

“Let's eat,"says lucy.

“我們吃飯吧。”露西說(shuō)。

Mum and Dad look at the table.

媽媽和爸爸看了看餐桌。

"The chairs are backward,"says Dad."And the plates are upside down."

“椅子都放反了，”爸爸說(shuō)，“盤子也都上下顛倒了?！?/div>

“The fork is on the right side,"says Mum."And the knife is on the left side."

"叉子在左邊，”媽媽說(shuō)，“小刀在右邊?！?/div>

They sit down on the backward chairs.

“Here comes our breakfast."says Dad.

”我們的早飯來(lái)了?！鞍职终f(shuō)。

"Oh,it's hot dogs,"says Mum.

“哦，是熱狗?！眿寢屨f(shuō)。

"It's not breakfast,"says Lucy.

“不是早飯。”露西說(shuō)。

"It's dinner,"says Kate.

“是晚飯?！眲P特說(shuō)。

"Ah,I think I understand,"says Mum.

"Yes,everything is backward,"says Dad.

“是的，所有事情都是反的。”爸爸說(shuō)。

They all eat the hot dogs.

他們吃的都是熱狗。

"Do you want to go afternoon?"asks Mum.

“你們今天下午想去電影院?jiǎn)?？”媽媽?wèn)。

"No,"say Lucy and Kate.

"Then go to the ice cream shop?"

“那么去冰激凌店嗎？”

"No,"say Lucy and Kate.

“不。”露西和凱特說(shuō)。

Mum and Dad smile.

媽媽和爸爸笑了。

Lucy and Kate look unhappy.

露西和凱特看起來(lái)不高興了。

"No"means "yes",you know."says Lucy.

“‘不’意味著‘是的’，你們知道的?！甭段髡f(shuō)。

"Because it's a backward morning,"says Kate.

“因?yàn)檫@是一個(gè)顛倒的早晨?！眲P特說(shuō)。

"Yes,we know,"says Mum.

“是的，我們知道?！眿寢屨f(shuō)。

"Now get dressed and let's go to the cinema,"says Dad.Everyone laughs.

“現(xiàn)在穿好衣服，我們?nèi)ル娪霸喊??！卑职终f(shuō)。大家都笑了。
